Once you have received your EMT / ECA certification it is important to complete the continuing education requirements.
The Texas EMT / ECA continuing education requirements established by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) can be accessed by clicking here.
For those who are maintaining the EMT / EMR certification through the National Registry, click here for the continuing education requirements.
Note: The Texas ECA certification is the same as the National Registry EMR certification level.
